Changelog
What we shipped, and when. Dates are India time.
: Extension updates, and how it all works
- Browser extension 3.4.0 tells you when a new version is ready: NEW on the toolbar icon, a banner on your new tab and an optional notification. One click downloads it and walks you through unzip and Reload; your saved jobs and settings stay. A What’s new list shows after each update.
- Announcements, feature switches and category order in the extension now come from this site, so many changes reach you without reinstalling.
- Interview prep on an extension card now opens the full prep page for that job and searches for the company’s own interview process.
- New page: How it works, with diagrams of where jobs come from, how they are checked, and how the site, extension and social posts fit together.
- The /prep kits page was retired; interview prep lives on each job’s page (Prep for this job).
- Every button and link on the site and in the extension was checked, with automated tests for each.
: Real views, applies and open stats
- Every job card and job page now shows real activity: views, how many people applied via Joe, saves, and a Trending flame for the most-viewed jobs in the last 24 hours. Counts start at zero and appear once they reach 5.
- New Most viewed and Most applied sorts on /jobs and in the extension, and a Popular this week rail on the home page.
- Open stats at /stats: open jobs, job seekers this week, extension users, applications sent via Joe, daily charts, top jobs and companies, and where visits come from. Nothing seeded.
- Counting is anonymous: a daily one-way code made on our server, no cookies, no IP addresses stored, bots dropped. The privacy policy explains it.
- Browser extension 3.3.0: the same counts on its cards, the stats strip and the new sorts, plus an anonymous daily active ping (disclosed in its privacy policy).
: Fresher-first, checked live, never a fee
- New sources from mass recruiters' own career sites: Accenture, Amazon (amazon.jobs), IBM Careers, HP, State Street, Cadence, Thomson Reuters, Kyndryl, Micron, Gartner, Motorola Solutions and Target (public career-site search, robots.txt respected).
- Batch-year (2024–2028) and degree tags (B.E/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, B.Com, any degree, non-CS and more), read only from what the employer states, with filters on /jobs and pages such as /jobs/batch/2026 and /jobs/degree/bca.
- Daily live-link check of every open job's apply page: dead pages (404/410 or a closed notice) are closed automatically; every job shows “Checked today” with the time.
- Pay and last date shown only when the employer states them, with the source; otherwise “Not disclosed”. Never estimated.
- Deadline reminders in your browser and a calendar (.ics) download for stated deadlines.
- A scam-risk score and the source on every job page.
- Free resume match score on every job page, computed in your browser (nothing uploaded).
- Prep kits for top recruiters at /prep, with official links and sources.
- “Freshers first” sort, and fresher and intern roles ranked first on the home page.
- No paid plan: the No-fee pledge, How we verify and this changelog are new. The old Pro plan and waitlist are gone.
- A public, daily India fresher jobs list on GitHub.
: Browser extension v3
- A new-tab job feed with saved jobs, applications and a scam check, free on Chrome.
How the checks work: How we verify.
